Whole house UV water filter kit
These UV water treatment kits with full WRAS approval have been assembled for use in family homes. They're great for other applications as well but we'd recommend speaking to us to go over alternative applications.
As a quick summary, the difference between the systems are as follow:
- Small – Uses the Wedeco Altima 1 system and the filter housing shown here. It also includes 6 replacement filter cartridges.
- Medium – Comes with a Wedeco Altima 2 unit, this filtration system and a filter cartridge to get you up and running.
- Large – Includes a Wedeco Altima 4 system and one of each of our filter housings (shown here) and cartridge (here).
The thing to remember in all this is that the system will function exactly the same way regardless of the size of your home. The issue you may have is that if you install a system that's too small, you may not get the full recommended dosage on your supply. If in doubt either go the size up or contact us to go over it with you.
These are fine to be left on for long periods with no water going trough them (like overnight for example) but care will be needed when flow resumes, the heated water in the reactor can get quite hot. It's only when you go away on holiday or something that we'd agree that they can be turned off.
This system comes with everything you need to fit and run it (but not connect it all up) for the whole first year* and are WRAS approved. The next thing you'll need to buy for the system is the lamp replacement that it'll need after the first year of operation and some more filter cartridges.
These systems can be packaged using the other Wedeco models (the Proxima is a common upgrade), but the Altima are used here because of popularity and simplicity.

Delivery times are 3-5 days unless otherwise stated and we use Parcelforce as our courier (not everyone will take glass items). Call us for alternative delivery options.
Returns
If you’re looking to return or exchange your order for whatever reason, we're here to help! We offer free returns or exchanges within 14 days of receiving your order as long as we are told of the issue within 48 hours. After that time we can apply small administrative charges. You can return your product for a credit, a different product, or a refund to the original payment method.
Please note the following exceptions to our return and exchange policy:
- Discounted items are final and cannot be returned or exchanged.
- Returned items must be unbroken and be returned in the original packaging.
- Returned items must have no visible signs of wear or use.
To initiate a return or exchange, please complete the following steps:
- Notify us at sales@rhinotechsystems.com to inform us of the issue and get an R.M.A. form.
- Return shipping will be payable by you, the buyer, unless Rhinotech have made a mistake resulting in a fault. Then we will assume full responsibility for the return of the faulty part.
- Print your prepaid shipping label that you will receive by email.
- Send all items back to us including all information provided.
Additional Information:
- Refunds will be processed within 2 working days and replacements will be provided within 5 days (availability pending).
- Lost orders will be replaced at the expense of Rhinotech within 7-10 days.
